I actually like this Twilight-Alicorn picture. She looks beasty. But you're right, most new stuff I see involves Twilicorn, too. It's to be expected, but... I'm getting sick of wings being the focus 90% of the time I see her.
Even as an Alicorn, I think what I really need is to see a picture/comic with Twilight just being Twilight. But with the novelty her little transformations brought, that's gonna be rare until people either get sick of it and decide the novelties wearing off, or two, until actual episodes roll around with Twi being Twi as an alicorn.
What? No way, you can't do that, it makes me feel sad and worried I don't want twilight to stay as a alicorn forever, that's her one chance and that's it. By this show in season 3 finale, twilight has become a princess and be a alicorn forever because I for one and sick of it. I want twilight to stay as a unicorn.

Ya know, this is probably the first Twilicorn picture I've seen that actually makes me second guess my original distaste for the change. I mean, she just looks so badflank here, like she could tear anypony apart if she wanted it.
You know she's a fictional character, right? She has wings if the artist decides to draw her with wings. She has no wings if somebody draws her with no wings.
My point was... Apparently she's going to have wings in the TV show now because somebody at Hasbro made that call. Not everyone works for Hasbro, though. All the fans aren't required to march in lockstep.
